Horror Skirmish in the woods

 I had a swat team go up against Jason, Freddy, A mascot with a chainsaw, and Michael Myers. The swat team ended up winning by using their guns and numbers to their advantage, but the horror dudes killed two or three of them first. :O

The slashers lay in wait, but none of them have ranged attacks.

Swat vs Zombies

 I tried another Skirmish game. This time a swat team versus an apartment full of zombies.

                                              The swat team gears up to go in -

Zombies burst out. 3-4 zombies down, maybe 1 swat down or two.

The Swat team is forced in melee with the zombies, and their kevlar helps, but not much offense besides butts of guns, and shooting at range.

 

                                                    It came down to two zombies vs a swat lieutenant cop guy. Zombies won. The cop got a very bad roll and was trapped against a wall.

Horror skirmish

            I thought I'd try something different and play Tabletop Simulator some more. I uploaded some Horrorclix, random civilians, and soldiers too as a private listing for basic miniatures. I used my Skirmish rules book and had Michael Myers, Jason, a Zombie, Ghostface, and a Giant rabbit fight two or three soldiers armed with light machine guns, a guy with a wrench, and a bunch of unarmed civilians.

Since this book uses inches and doesn't require straight movement, it was an easy convert to a hex grid! Ran great this way.

The soldiers were able to pick off the more durable slashers to a degree, but only one soldier survived in the end. Using melee the last soldier,  got a lucky roll and dealt the 3rd and final wound to Jason. The rabbit and Ghostface both got taken out by soldiers early on. Michael killed a soldier and a civilian, but the survivors rushed him and a stripper managed to kill him, even though she only had her fists or a purse. She managed to roll a really high natural number and give him his 3rd and final wound.

 Of the survivors, I believe 3 soldiers, and two civilians died. It was a pretty horrific showdown on a farm!

                                            The final victim of Michael Myers. The stripper in red managed to finally end the evil of Myers.

The zombie could only move very slowly, so he had really no chance at all.

The wind direction dice were off drive thru rpg with a pay what you want setting. I can't wait to finish my cavemen in the coming days and play a solo game. I'm waiting on my mammoth DND icewind dale miniatures to come, too.

28mm Terrain

 

                I made some more terrain for my 28mm warming. I sculpted, used foam, added army painter grass and veg. 

Cavemen vs Aliens

                     I printed and bought about fifteen 28mm cavemen and had them battle some of my Space Cadet Away Mission aliens. I have more cavemen to paint as well. Plus, a bunch of grey aliens and a flying saucer. I used a  skirmish system book called Skirmish by Michael O. Varhola, which is available on amazon for under $10.

The system works pretty well, though I had to add some rules for laser guns. The cavemen lost the first encounter of 3 aliens vs 9 Cavemen, but the cavemen managed to use better tactics and rush the aliens and win game two. I plan to introduce my wooly mammoth into the next game. Possibly have it battle a flying saucer or trample some aliens.
